As a Counselling Psychologist I have worked with individuals, groups and communities to improve mental health and to provide support to people experiencing emotional difficulties by helping them identify and work through their issues.
I have also had the opportunity to interact with individuals and communities while focusing on social issues, social institutions, and other settings that influence individuals, groups, or organizations.
This has enabled me to understand the relationship between environmental conditions and the development of mental health and how this can influence the well being of individuals or members of a community.
While working with community-based organizations (CBO) around the country, I have developed an open-minded and sensitive approach when dealing with individuals, groups or communities and an appreciation of multicultural and religious diversity.
I hold a degree in Counselling Psychology from Tangaza University and a Diploma in the same. I am also qualified in psychological debriefing, counselling supervision and trainer on trainer(ToT).
